Job description
Responsible for directing the implementation of information resources to support the strategic direction and operations of the health system. Identifies and presents the best long-term direction for the Information Systems functions, based on the overall mission and business strategy. Responsible for both capital and operational expenditures necessary to provide for the integration and cost effective utilization of the information systems for the health system. Directs the planning and coordination of healthcare IT programs including gathering requirements and planning for systems selection, system design, testing implementation, systems integration, training and system maintenance.TYPE

Seven (7) years’ experience in a responsible administrative position in a hospital or related health services administration position.
EDUCATION
Successful completion of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems required. Advanced degree is preferred.
