What’s a typical day as a Chemical Packaging Technician? You’ll be:

• Safely package finished product in totes, drums, tanks, or other packaging media wearing the appropriate PPE.
• Transferring liquid chemicals (finished product) from blend vessels into finished packaging containers like 55 gal drums, IBCs, and metal tanks. They will be working with and around production technicians, packaging technicians, and material handlers inside of the chemical production facility.
• Operate the packaging machine and collect samples.
• Relay issues to Control Room Technicians.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

• HS education or GED.
• Able to work a rotating shift schedule (rotates weekly M-F from 6 am - 2:30 pm and 2 pm - 10:30 pm).
• Forklift and relevant chemical handling experience preferred.
• Overtime and weekend work depending on production demand.

Salary: $11.35 - $20.64 per hour
