Nestled in the San Pedro River Valley 75 miles southeast of Tucson, Sierra Vista serves as the main commercial, cultural, and recreational hub of Cochise County and offers spectacular mountain views and year-round temperate climate. Outdoor sightseeing and recreational activities are abundant in the area with a variety of state parks, championship golf courses, tennis courts, and over 20 miles of multi-use paths within the city.

Provides customer-focused quality healthcare to family health patient populations; meeting their diverse health and social needs. Collect payment on account and additional self-pay balance based on visit. Post payments to NextGen either to encounter or account, whichever is appropriate for that particular payment.Schedule follow-up appointments with SVMG providers and/or CVMC ancillary services. Schedule appointments on behalf of patient for patients referred to specialists. Upload or prepare for upload patient portal documents, including test results, visit summaries, etc. Set up recalls for patients as diagnosis requires. Assist with phones as necessary. Enter medical records requests into the PHI log within NextGen. Complete orders for additional services based on notes from provider, finishing these tasks within NextGen EMR. Complete referrals and prior-authorizations for patients timely. As possible, these tasks must be completed while the patient is still in our presence so they can leave the clinic knowing exactly what step is next in their care. Contact and schedule appointments for patients referred to us by outside providers/entities. Understand plans requiring authorizations for services and relay information to providers/patients as necessary. Ensure length of referral/number of visits is properly documented within NextGen.
