Since opening in 1952, CHI St. Alexius Health Garrison has been dedicated to serving the residents of Garrison, ND and the surrounding rural communities. CHI St. Alexius Health includes the Garrison Hospital and the Garrison Family Clinic. CHI St. Alexius Health Garrison includes the services of a 22-bed CAH, a 28-bed skilled nursing facility, an attached rural health clinic, and a newly remodeled emergency department that is available 24 hours a day. We offer many outpatient services, including physical therapy, radiology services, laboratory services, cardiac rehabilitation, and IV treatments.
CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

Responsibilities
In this role, you function as mentor and coach, establish daily work plans for team, and help ensure day to day operations run smooth and that we provide exceptional patient care to our patients! This is a great role where you can start gaining leadership experience but still do direct patient care which is probably your passion!
Key duties include:
- Assisting in communication shared vision, mission and values within the department.
- Problem solving utilizing department performance improvement.
- Accountable for patient/physician engagement.
- Assesses, plans implements and evaluates nursing care according to established standards, policies and procedures.
- Clear communication as to expectations of others; addresses issues in an objective manner
- Maintains ongoing compliance with regulatory standards through patient rounding, EOC rounding and physician rounding.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse License in North Dakota. North Dakota is a compact state, so license must be held in the state of your residence.
BLS certification is required upon hire.
