The Charge Capture Specialist is primarily responsible for entering and balancing daily office charges for our OrthoLoneStar divisions. The individual will work closely with their team to ensure accurate and timely charge capture records are maintained.
Essential Functions
- Accurately enter daily office batches including proper batching and balancing protocols for charges.
- Validate and correct office charge errors that are identified as each encounter receives multilevel editing.
- Resolve encounters identified as missing tickets and worklists.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: One year previous data entry experience, preferably in a medical office setting
- Special skills:
- Typing 40 wpm
- Ten key calculator by touch
- Attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and management
