Job Summary
Receives, offloads, and reloads freight for CBP exams by performing the following duties.
Primary Duties:

• Operate forklift, pallet jack or other hand truck
• Unload inbound trucks/containers sort if needed both by hand and forklift
• Coordinate with drivers and various US Customs agencies (USDA, FDA, CPSC) on exams set up
• Set up information in computer system for tracking purposes
• Set up files and maintain information as the exam progresses
• Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Relocate product as needed and fill out paperwork
• Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
• Identify safety hazards in the workplace
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse to include picking up garbage, sweeping floors, keeping warehouse aisles clear debris and maintain outside grounds
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• High School diploma/GED
• Driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions
• Proficient in mathematics
• Knowledge of various material handling equipment preferred
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
• Possess high regard for safety in the workplace
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to operate a forklift

Preferred Licenses and Experience

• Forklift Certification
• 2 years forklift experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
