Job description

We are looking for a caring and compassionate Nursing Assistant to assist in our nursing home, long term care or rehabilitation center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct care to patients who have been recovering from illness, injury or surgeryor who on needing long term care. The candidate will work a variety of shifts. In addition to their patient care duties, the candidate must complete daily reports to document their activities for all patients.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with patients and families to ensure that they understand treatment options and care plans.
• Provide personal care to patients, such as bathing and dressing, using proper safety procedures and patient handling equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the patient's room, using proper safety procedures and sterilizing equipment.
• Report changes in patient's condition to nursing staff.
• Understand any special instructions for interacting with residents of particular ethnic groups or different family situations.
• Be aware of laws and regulations pertaining to health care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem, PRN

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
