Seeking personable professionals to join our team of Dental Assistants! The ideal candidate will have a background in assisting dentists and have experience with dental offices. Responsibilities include overseeing the smooth flow of patient scheduling and serve as a liaison between the medical team and patient.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain dental technologies.
• Takes med. histories and vital signs, places and removes rubber dams, matrix bands, temp separating devices, places orthodontic ligatures, selects/prefits provisional crowns and orthodontic bands, removes orthodontic arch wires and ligature ties, temp cement, takes impressions for casts, applies topical anticariogenic/desensitizing agents to teeth
• Receive and schedule patient appointments.
• Follow infection control procedures.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience is required as a Dental Assistant.

Certification/Licenses:

• Valid certification to practice as a Dental Assistant issued by NYSED required.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Salary: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
