CDL A Driver
Position Summary
Hudson Printing has been serving Salt Lake City area for over 100 years. We are looking to bring in a new CDL-A Driver to expand our growing family!
Hudson Printing is searching for an outstanding Delivery Driver to deliver finished products to customers along Wasatch Front.
A successful employee in this position is dependable, self-motivated, responsible, hardworking, and always willing to help when needed, great at communicating, able to work well with others, and maintains good hygiene acceptable for a professional environment. Must be able to work with little to no supervision and be accountable while on deliveries.
Starting pay is based on relevant experience with the first 90-days as a trial period. Excellent attitude, attendance, and performance lead to continuous pay increases during regular quarterly or biannual performance reviews.
Primary Duties
- Responsible for operating a large delivery truck or van
- Loading, unloading, and delivery of finished products to our customers
- Handling and securing of all merchandise
- Keep accurate and up-to-date delivery records
- Maintain regular vehicle maintenance servicing
- Assist other logistical department staff
- Interact with customers in a professional manner
- Support company safety policies and encourage employees to work safely
- All other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years driving experience
- Utah State Class “A” Commercial Driver License
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report
- Clean Background Report
- Must be able to pass a drug screen + random drug screens
- Excellent communication skills and customer service
- Forklift and electric pallet jack experience is a plus
