Position: Cath Lab Technician
Location: 1225 Wilshire Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90017
Shift Information: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
Job Duration: 13 weeks contract with an option to extend
Job description- We are seeking a highly capable Cath Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will use machines that help diagnose various conditions of the heart. Aside from invasive catheterization, you might also use other machines. One machine, the EKG, will allow you to get a reading by attaching electrodes to a patient's body and recording electrical variations of the heart. You can then supply a printout of that reading to a physician for diagnosis.
Responsibilities-
- Performs duties in compliance with universal precaution and infection control
- Adheres to department standards for on call coverage
- Responsible for cleaning equipment, exam rooms and keeps an orderly work area for improved efficiency
- Utilizes computer system within the hospital guidelines
- Proficient in required computer programs, documentation and computer charting
- Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, Invasive Cardiovascular Technology, Paramedic Program or Respiratory Therapist Program
- Cardiac or special procedure experience – Preferred
- ECG interpretation experience - Preferred

Requirements-
- State License
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Good organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Pay $3400 to $3720/week on W2
