Overview:
Position summary:
Reporting to the cash receipts and escrow manager, this position is responsible for the research, recording and reporting of cash receipts, assist in opening and liquidating escrow transactions, and administrative work in support of the group’s objectives.

Client Accounting team
Accounts Payable team
General Accounting team
Responsibilities:
  • Execute business activities with a strong discipline surrounding internal controls.
  • Operate efficiently with an emphasis on internal client service.
  • Ensure timely application of all cash receipts in Aderant.
  • Research cash receipts to ensure proper application.
  • Maintain client and office cash receipt spreadsheets.
  • Prepare daily report of collections, billings and billable hours.
  • Process escrow transactions.
  • Process personal charge withholdings.
  • Provide support to firm personnel in the overall tracking of cash received.
  • Assist with worldwide year-end audit requests.
  • Assist with special projects as required.
Qualifications:
Ideal Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Aderant (preferred), Microsoft Excel and Word.

The base salary for this position is $50,000 to $60,000. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors, including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location and performance.
