Position Overview:

A Place At Home is looking for caring, respectful, and compassionate professionals to care for seniors in the comfort of their own homes.

Essential Functions:

• To provide companionship and stimulation for the client.
• To assist in managing and maintaining the client’s household.
• To protect the home health care company by adhering to professional standards, homecare policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
• To follow HIPAA guidelines regarding all client PHI.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

• To provide stimulation and companionship for the client including reading, walks, conversation, games, and accompanying client to appointments or on errands.
• Assist in planning and preparing meals and snacks according to specific dietary requirements as outlined in the client's care plan, including aide with feeding if necessary.
• Assist client with personal care such as bathing assistance, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Observe conditions of the client's residence and report changes to clients physical or mental behavior along with potentially unsafe environmental changes.
• Maintain continuity of client care by documentation and communicating with other caregivers in the client's care plan.
• Participate in in-services and training as required

Skills/Qualifications:

Independence, flexibility, good judgement, strong verbal and written communication, ability to maintain a good client relationship, listening skills, time management, and thoroughness.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Background check and drug screening

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
