Care Coordinator
Take your career to the next level with an established, celebrated and unique nationwide mobile veterinary practice limited to in-home euthanasia services. CareVet is seeking a Care Coordinator who is compassionate, self-motivated, supportive, and empathetic with excellent communication skills and the desire to assist pet families. As Care Coordinator, you will guide the client through the in-home euthanasia process and facilitate the scheduling of in-home appointments for Doctors. This position is remote and all communication with clients and doctors will be done over the phone.
Care coordinators are extremely special to our team. They not only have a sincere passion for pets, but also possess an incredible amount of care and love for humans. As Care Coordinator, you play a key role in providing one of the greatest final gifts that we can give to a family's cherished pet.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering client calls in a timely and supportive manner
  • Address concerns and coordinate care compassionately
  • Gather and document the pet’s medical information
  • Schedule appointments in a logical and effective manner
  • Support client relations with multiple veterinarians
  • Go above and beyond to be compassionate when assisting clients, their pets, and doctors
  • Communicate routinely with Operations Manager, veterinarians, and staff by keeping them informed of client issues, requests, appointment information, and any pertinent information
Required Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong and professional interpersonal skills
  • Exercises critical thinking skills
  • Strong proficiency in computer literacy, navigation, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to multi-task using multiple computer tabs/platforms while engaging in conversation
  • Motivated
  • Must be comfortable with utilizing the internet and credit card processing systems
  • Must be able to quickly learn all platforms
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Displays compassion and confidence in all aspects of the position
Preferred Experience:
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience
  • At least 5 years of experience practicing front-line animal care specifically in a veterinary office
Location & Schedule:
  • Work from home
  • Early mornings and late evenings
  • Part-time or Full-time opportunities available
