The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides extraordinary care and treatment to patients in the cardiology clinical setting. The responsibilities of the NP include: Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ health care condition and needs. Services provided by the Cardiology NP may include stress tests, and other advanced diagnostic and therapeutic functions related to cardiac patients. This professional works in collaboration with cardiologists to develop a plan and goals for patient to ensure the best possible outcome for our patients in the Sussex County region of Delaware (Lewes).

Entry Rate: Depends on experience Benefits Eligible: Yes Shift Details: This position is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. Minimum Requirements

• Current state license as a Nurse Practitioner
• Eligible for state Controlled Substance License
• Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V
• This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Physical Requirements

• Hearing/Listening, Manual Dexterity, Lifting, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in Cardiology as a Nurse Practitioner
• Applicable certification from a recognized certifying organization such as American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
