Title: Cafeteria Worker
Qualifications: 1. High School Education
2. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Reports To: Cafeteria Manager
Job Goal: To serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and
friendliness.
Performance Responsibilities
- Assists in the preparation of food portions and prepares cafeteria serving lines.
- Serves student and staff from the cafeteria serving lines.
- Removes used trays and assists in the cleaning of serving lines, and furnishings in the dining area.
- Maintains the trash and garbage collection area in a neat and sanitary fashion.
- Performs related duties as required; including duties at special meal functions.
Terms of Employment: Salary and work year will be established by the Board.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy
on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
