Job description

We are looking for a candidate who is willing to work as a Cable Installer (no experience required, training provided) with own vehicle (truck, van, suv) at the following locations:

• Long Island: Huntington, Medford, Brentwood, Patchogue, Shirley, Calverton, Riverhead areas;
• New Jersey;
• Westchester;
• Connecticuit: Stamford, Norwalk.

Our Cable Technicians will be responsible for installing data and voice cable systems for residential television systems, home routers, and other cabled devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing cable infrastructure;
• Performing maintenance on existing cabling systems;
• Testing newly installed or relocated cables according to company specifications;
• Identifying and removing redundant cabling;
• Installing televisions, routers, and internet technology devices;
• Troubleshooting issues with the cable network;
• Installing cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct;
• Repairing cable poles and towers;
• Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations;
• Completing paperwork such as timesheets, checklists, vehicle inspection reports, and service orders.

Knowledge / Skills / Background / Qualifications:

• Ability to install complex internet and television equipment (in case you have)
• Ability to work in cramped spaces
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix any problems that may arise (in case you have)
• Ability to work at heights

Primary requirements:

• Driving license of any state

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: from $1500-2000 per week. The company doesn't pay hourly, but for each order.
