Hiring Manager Job Title: Trim Carpenter - Cabinet Install
Job Function: Installation and trimming of custom cabinets
Employment Status: Full-time Regular
Primary Location: ROSENDALE, WI
Job Summary
Cabinet installers must have the ability to remove any existing cabinets, prepare areas as needed for the installation of cabinets according to specifications. This position works on various residential sites and works in accordance with JG Custom Cabinetry's standard operating procedures. Installers use a variety carpenter's hand tools and power tools as needed. They are also required to maintain a clean workspace and take pride in their finished product. Installers main responsibility is to provide the highest level of installation standards while maintaining a professional attitude with the utmost respect for the customer's property.

Qualifications
 Working knowledge of carpentry and hand tool skills
 Trim carpentry experience is desired, but not necessary
 Ability to use power tools
 Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
 Knowledge of the cabinet installation process with the ability to take accurate measurements
 Understanding of customer service principles and practices
 Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
Physical Demands
 Frequent lifting from 5 - 50 lbs., unassisted
 Occasional lifting from 41 lbs.+, assisted
 Sustained periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
Primary Job Duties
 Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
 Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
 Verify trueness of structure, using plumb bob and level.
 Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
 Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
 Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
 Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, carpenter's hand tools, or power tools.
 Erect scaffolding or ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
 Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools.
 Install structures or fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware, using carpenters' hand or power tools.
 Select and order lumber or other required materials.
 Maintain records, document actions, and present written progress reports.
