Role Objective

Dumont JETS is seeking passionate, highly skilled Cabin Attendants to join our team of aviation professionals. Our dedicated Cabin Attendants are the face of Dumont JETS, providing a safe and memorable in-flight experience to our guests each flight. Cabin Attendants report directly to the Lead Cabin Attendant and the Pilot in Command of the assigned trip.

Job Description

  • Assist passengers & crew members in the event of an abnormal or emergency situation
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations/company policies & procedures
  • Provide the highest standards of customer service to exceed client’s expectations
  • Knowledge of & ability to assist and administer basic first aid to passengers in distress (CPR, AED, First Aid)
  • Culinary skills – knowledge of catering/order & food safety
  • Order, prepare, and serve meals and beverages, including alcoholic beverages to guests
  • On-Time performance required – Ability to report to your assigned aircraft 2 hours prior to departure
  • Confirm the visual standards of the aircraft interior are met and the plane is properly stocked to accommodate the needs and any special requests of our clients prior to departure
  • Greet and provide assistance to passengers as they board the plane, creating a positive first impression for our clients
  • Ensure emergency equipment is maintained and in a response-ready state and in the unlikely event of an emergency
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, diplomacy, and professional demeanor before, during, and after the flight
  • Assist in setting and maintaining visual standards for the fleet and conduct routine quality control audits of the appearance of the interior of the aircraft
  • Source and purchase required stock for the fleet and ensure appropriate back-up stock levels are maintained in a tidy and organized fashion
  • Additional duties as may be assigned by Inflight Leadership

Physical Demands

  • Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role which requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting

Schedule

  • Rotation – 12 days on/10 days off
  • Ability to be away from home for extended periods of time including nights, weekends & holidays
  • Available to travel on short notice with a flexible schedule
  • Willingness to travel to both domestic and international destinations


Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required
  • 3-5+ years experience as a corporate cabin attendant
  • Must be current safety trained with AirCare FACTS or FlightSafety
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and welcoming professional decorum
  • While on duty or in uniform we do not allow visible tattoos or body piercings other than the ears. Extreme hair styles or colors are not permitted.
  • Ability to sit in the cabin attendant jump seat without modification

Additional Eligibility Requirements

  • Successfully complete a background investigation, including FBI fingerprint and criminal history
  • Pass a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug, alcohol, and random screening throughout your employment which includes screening for marijuana, cocaine, opiates, PCP and amphetamine. Please be aware that medical marijuana is prohibited by the DOT for safety sensitive employees.

Work Authorization

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States of America
  • Current/Valid Passport with unrestricted ability to travel worldwide
