JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for buying Piping Materials, Paints, Steel, Equipment, Consumables and other required products assigned and assist in price estimation as required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Send Request for Quotes to Vendors according to corresponding, elaborate bid analysis to select best offer, confirm Purchase Orders to Vendors, monitor deliveries, and provide price estimates to the Estimating Department. Maintain P.O Log and ensure it is up to date. Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 3 years in Administration field. Knowledge of Buyer, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, FIFO, Lead Time and JIT preferred.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).
Teamwork and detailed oriented.
Good Interpersonal, Judgment and Decision Making Skills.
Good Problem Solving
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

High school required
