This manufacturer make products specifically for the aerospace and defense sectors. Due to their brilliant reputation, high quality products and a strong customer base they are looking to hire 2 Buyers.
In this role you will manage the procurement of goods to support production. You will be responsible for purchase orders, quotations and proposals. There is a Purchasing Supervisor who will be able to support your learning and make sure you fully capable of the position.
The role would suit a Buyer ideally from an engineering or manufacturing background (this is not essential) looking for a long term secure role with advancement opportunities.
The role:
- Monday to Thursday - 40 hours a week
- Procurement of goods to support production
- Preparation of purchase orders and proposals
The candidate:
- Buying or procurement experience
- Ideally have experience working in engineering or manufacturing but this is not essential
- Looking for a long term career with advancement and training
