Job description

In this role, you will:

· Ongoing management of a proprietary portfolio management application which includes a collateral database, borrowing base calculations, transaction-specific information screens, and reporting tools

· Monitor and review emails received through central email box. Understand the contents of the email, classify, and archive them accordingly

· Develop algorithmic approach to further automate daily responsibilities

· Manage a workflow tool used by team members to review and process communication (e.g., compliance reporting, funding requests, etc.) from clients

· Be a point of contact for coverage bankers and other members of the SFG team for questions about the receipt of client information deliverables

· Review borrowing bases submitted by clients in connection with funding requests, collateral pool changes, and other periodic reporting requirements.

· Develop & maintain procedures guides for key tasks to ensure clear documentation exists to support operational risk mitigation and knowledge transfer

· Contribute to the team’s overall portfolio management & surveillance activities

Desired Qualifications:

· A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics

· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

· Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills

· High level of personal motivation. Does more than what is asked for and anticipates questions/issues

· Ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining excellence and consistency of work. Ability to quickly change focus and stay organized is a must

· Ability to assess and determine when to raise concerns and escalate

· Very comfortable and efficient in Excel. Experience writing formulas; organizing, analyzing, and formatting data; and recognizing and auditing errors.

· Advanced Microsoft Office skills

· Working knowledge of Subscription Finance market practices and terminology

· Familiarity with private equity, structured finance, and/or capital markets

· An ability to navigate and interpret loan legal documentation is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
