MICROSOFT CORPORATION has the following job opportunity: Business Program Manager Plan, initiate, and manage technology and business projects. Guide the work of technical staff. Understand business requirements, create and sell the program or project vision and strategy, and perform scoping, planning, and scheduling. Mitigate risk, implement process efficiency, and manage results metrics. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Proactively coordinate and integrate scope change initiatives for programs. Comprehensively design customer survey programs and lead the architecture of new surveys to create improved solutions. Take appropriate action on gaps and redundancies across disciplines and escalate to senior management as appropriate. Education: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Experience: 36 months of experience managing software and business processes for operations, systems, projects, and tools. Education or Experience in: Big Data; Coordinating program development of computer software applications/systems/services from design through product release; Managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools or policies; SQL and/or T-SQL; and PowerBI. Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S. Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., 40 hrs/wk. The offered base pay range for this specific position is $140,700 to $160,700 per year. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
