Job description

Integrated team member that supports the Business Development Manager and Director of Estimating to plan, develop, and identify new business opportunities. Defines, plans, and executes short and long-term strategic goals, builds key customer relationships.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

• Interfaces with leaders and supports internal departments (project management, estimating, etc)

• Meets with current customers (in-person & virtual)

• Develops, implements, and maintains a business plan to prospect new clients

• Creates, develops, and presents ideas that cultivate opportunities

• Collects, analyzes and compares pertinent data and makes recommendations

• Develops and achieves a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to take direction, learn and make our team better

• Proven ability to develop new business

• Proven ability to work independently

• Ability to plan, prioritize and organize multiple projects and business demands

• Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Architecture, Construction, or other Engineering field.

Work Environment:

This person will be working partly in the office at Zimmerman Metals, but will also be required to visit suppliers, customer, etc. Valid Drivers License is required.

Office hours are from 7:30-4:00 M-F

Physical Demands:

Normal office setting, including sitting and use of computer and office equipment for long periods of time, occasional lifting (>25#), talking, standing, stooping, grasping, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
