Business Development Manager / Sales

Intech Anchoring Systems (Intech) has been supplying commercial and industrial contractors with geo-structural engineering products, materials, and solutions for 20 years. Our focus is to supply project materials to specialty sub-contractors and working with engineers and other specifiers on projects that would benefit from installing our Hydraway Systems. As part of our expansion plan Intech has an immediate opening for a Business Development / Outside Sales representative with a desire to work for an Industry Leader with a patented product and a reputation for excellence.

In this high-profile position, your principal responsibility will be Business Development as the OEM manufacture of Hydraway Drainage Systems through earning the respect of specifying design firms, building new distributor relationships, and identify key potential end users of Hydraway Drainage systems. This will be completed in a defined territory / region from VA up the North East side of the country to the state of Maine. Your main goal will be to sell our Hydraway Drainage System. Other duties will include but are not limited to contract negotiations, daily management of territory development, project support, and collaborating with the in-house engineering team to support our partner’s needs.

Qualified candidates must have 3-5 years of experience with territory sales and business development. Experience with project / territory development and business to business and/or construction sales is preferred.

Other requirements include:

  • Extensive product and industry training provided
  • Extensive Travel within Territory – 30% to 50%
  • Working knowledge or experience in general construction and drainage applications would be a benefit
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Familiarity with contractual requirements of a construction project a plus
  • Proven experience working effectively as a liaison with Engineers, Sub - Contractors, and Owners
  • Excellent communication, organizational, writing and computer skills
