As a
Business Data Analyst II you will support and contribute to business analytics projects and processes to provide data-driven insights related to business performance used to advise and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. You will use statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis to develop and deploy tools, including dashboards, infographics, reports, and models, to inform and support decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mines, processes, and analyzes internal and external data using KPIs, business results, industry sources, competitor intelligence, and customer information.
- Develops a good understanding of the business's model, objectives, issues, and challenges by interacting and collaborating with users and stakeholders.
- Using data, Identify problems that still need to be identified.
- Use database tools like Excel and SQL and programming languages like R and Python to collect and analyze new data sets.
- Develop and deploy dashboards to collect data-backed insights
- Interpret key business data sets
- Deliver insights on potential areas of growth, optimization, and improvements
- Support business intelligence strategies with quantitative analysis
- Work cross-departmentally on data-driven strategies that improve business processes and decision-making
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong aptitude for working in a cross-language environment using frameworks and languages, including but not limited to .NET, NodeJS, Python, R.
- Experience using data systems such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, Cognos, Microsoft Power BI, or other similar systems.
- Work with Product Owners and Business Systems Analysts to create project requirements.
- Work with Product Owners to estimate the size of project work.
- Ability to demo reports to stakeholders after each milestone.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a weekly cadence.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate and work effectively with staff across different departments and organizational levels of the business
- Strong desire and ability to foster a collaborative work environment
