Thatcher Technology Group is looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Technical Product Design to design, analyze and document business requirements across various development projects and implementations of its Sales Force Compensation and Incentive Management software solution. The Business Analyst will be a key liaison between business system users, technology development, and support teams, Ultimately being responsible for applying analytical skills to elicit, analyze, document, and define functional and technical requirements, new application features, and system enhancements. The individual’s secondary responsibility will be to participate as part of the product management team to define new product features as part of the long-term product roadmaps.

The Business Analyst is an integral part of the Delivery and services team and will work closely with colleagues ranging from the President to developers. This role requires a solid understanding of technology solutions like portals, process automation and Content Management, and also requires expertise in project execution using methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, etc. In addition the individual should have full technical knowledge of all phases of business/systems analysis and understanding of SOW’s and other deliverables.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Collaboratively define and document functional requirements, technical requirements, specifications, business processes, workflows, use cases, user stories, process flows, test strategy, test scenarios and reporting outputs.
• Create user-interfaces prototypes (containing minimal functionality) in a user-centric design process
• Elicit requirements using, requirements workshops, focus groups, interviews, surveys, document analysis, etc.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
• Lead design and review sessions with technical and business staffs, including all levels of management.
• Identify gaps in business requirements and document those issues.
• Engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and effectively multi-task and manage priorities to cope with the demands of a fast paced environment
• Research industry-related best practices and benchmarks to innovate new processes and strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related field, such as Management Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent experience
• General working knowledge of relational databases and Transact-SQL
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently or in a group
• Some travel is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Provide exceptional follow through and be customer-service driven
• Advanced interpersonal skills
• The ability to analyze and problem-solve, including an understanding of how to interpret customer requests to translate into application and operational requirements

• Familiarity with .NET applications, enterprise application integration, n-tier architecture

Preferred requirements include:

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in managing simultaneous complex tasks from inception to successful completion
• Knowledge of web-based applications and processes required
• Application Development or other technical experience required
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project etc.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence is a plus
• Experience with Compensation & Incentive Management system is a plus
• Experience with Direct Selling or MLM companies is a plus
