Business Analyst

We’re searching for a Business Analyst who values mastery, authenticity, and positivity to help build and grow our product. In this role, you will be tasked with analyzing key metrics about our business and its performance which you will use to generate insights and reports for marketing, sales and overall strategy.

This is a full-time position, located in Austin. Our office is conveniently located just off of east 6th street, two blocks from Lazarus, Whisler’s, Via 313, and more!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dissect online shopping data to identify opportunities to increase conversion, order value, lifetime value, and customer delight
• Solve a wide variety of complex problems as they arise that will often require significant analysis of our data, research and deep thinking
• Analyze and interpret on an enormous amount of behavioral and transactional data
• Analyze performance statistics at an extremely detailed level and present insights and recommendations to teammates.
• Lead brainstorming sessions with your teammates to determine opportunities for improvement and experiments; recommend new experiments support by your analysis and research
• Work closely with our designers, developers, and account managers to bring your new experiments to life

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, computer science, mathematics or statistics
• Knowledge of various statistical tools and libraries (e.g. Weka, R, sciPy and similar)
• Demonstrated ability to apply statistical or data mining techniques to solve real problems
• Exceptional ability to organize, interpret, analyze and leverage large amounts of data to derive and communicate valuable insights
• Mastery of MS Excel
• Ability to prioritize and maintain focus
• Experience with python and Pandas strongly preferred
• You are driven by curiosity, experimentation and rapid iteration
• You love brainstorming and creative thinking
• You are energetic and personable, with strong communication skills
