Monarch Distributing is hiring for a Bulk Freight Driver role in the Indianapolis area. We are looking for prospective candidates with varying levels of experience that would like to join Indiana’s largest beer distributor. Drivers will be picking up product and raw material from breweries and suppliers.

Position Title: Bulk Freight Driver – Class A CDL

• Drivers home daily (start and end at distribution center). No overnight stays required.
• No touch freight – drop and hook operation
• Set schedule Monday – Friday shifts with weekends off
• New well maintained modern fleet of tractors and trailers with all automatic transmission
• Earn up to $80,000 in 1st year earnings
• Training provided for candidates with less than 1-year of experience

Position Summary
Under minimal supervision prepares truck for daily transfers of product and equipment from one company location to another company location.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Conducts pre and post vehicle inspections
• Maintains driver logs through our automated system
• Unloads and checks in product
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner
• Ensures accuracy of load
• Completes all required paperwork
• Is compliant with all State and Federal regulations as it relates to the job
• Must maintain an acceptable driving record in compliance with DOT requirements.
• Performsall other duties as assigned.

Posting Information: Position Requirements:
Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent driving record
• Possess a valid Class A drivers license from an approved driver training school
• Ability to lift up to 165lbs
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Attention to detail
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow safety procedures
• Ability to use hand cart and truck
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Position must pass a post offer drug test and background check.
