Job description
Ferrum College has an opening for a Building Floor Technician. Job duties would involves running floor buffers and burnishers to clean carpet, wax and polish floors and occasional stripping wax from floors. There will be times when you will be required to do housekeeping schedules or trash removal.
Occasionally lift & carry up to 75 pounds and be capable of a full range of body motions including reaching, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and walking.
This is a full time, 40-hour week position with occasional weekend and overtime work. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Driver’s license and good driving record required. Background check required.
