- Must be available for practices and games on various days and times; practices normally start at 3:30 p.m. on weekdays but may be adjusted based on the head coach's plans
- Current CPR/First-Aid Card on file prior to the first day of coaching athletes
- Successful candidate must submit a Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure and undergo state and federal background checks including fingerprinting at the applicant's expense
Salary Range: $2,650 - $3,750/Season depending on experience
Benefits: Eligible employees may accrue sick leave at the rate of one (1) hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked under Washington State Law. Upon working 630 hours in a school year, eligible employees may be eligible for insurance benefits through School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) which includes, medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance.
Position Description: Our coaches suppport the district mission by:
- Coaching and developing athletes on the JV team
- Working with the head coach to install his vision and philosophy on the JV team
- Assisting the varsity coach with the varsity players
- Building a positive environment that allows students an opportunity to have fun while learning both soccer skills as well as life skills
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Experience playing soccer at the high school level or beyond
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience coaching any sport at the high school level
- Experience coaching soccer at the high school level or beyond
