Job description

Bonita Steel Builders is seeking a bookkeeper and payroll specialists. This position will handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, administrative duties, answering phone and assisting in other departments.

Pay is commensurate to experience.

Qualifications:

• QuickBooks Experience required
• Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word
• Must understand basic principles of accounting
• 1 year of experience working in an accounting/bookkeeping position

Duties include but not limited to:

• Assist with month-end financial reports
• Post journal entries
• Help with accounts receivable, payable and bank statement reconciliation
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Data entry
• Keep track of accounts receivables and payables through aging of accounts, assist in sending out and replying to demand letters, and maintain records for said accounts.
• Set up new accounts in the books

Key Skills:

• Self-starter; able to work well without constant direction
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willing to make things positive
• Values hands-on collaboration and teamwork
• Accounting Major required
• Willingness to learn and expand one's horizon in the area of accounting, finance and business development

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
