Experienced Bookkeeper
We are an established CPA firm located in Odessa, TX. We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to complete our team. We offer a competitive salary and benefits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review information submitted by clients for completeness; meet with or correspond with clients regarding missing information or questions.
• Working knowledge of general accounting to answer clients' questions.
• Complete monthly write up for multiple clients' books, including posting checks & deposits, reconciling accounts, updating fixed assets & recording depreciation expense, etc.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.
• Preparation of monthly sales tax reports.
• Preparation of miscellaneous forms, including payroll tax reports, Form W-2’s, and Form 1099's.
• Other duties as may be occasionally assigned.

Work Experience:

• At least one (1) year of experience preparing client write up work in public accounting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks are preferred with the willingness to learn new accounting software.

Salary is dependent upon experience.

Expected start date: 5/1/2023

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
