Requirements:


Under the direction of the Lead Electrician, Shop Supervisor or Vice President, Manufacturing, individual:

  • Assemble, install and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment and fixtures, using had tools and power tools.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers or other components.
  • Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Fasten plastic boxes to bulkheads to boat electrical switches or outlets.
  • Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures; and install components and units.
  • Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings.
  • Install electrical distribution including conduits, cables, wires, and related equipment such as circuit breakers, and switches.
  • Cut openings and drill holes for fixtures and equipment, using electric drills and routers.
  • Install equipment and accessories such as navigation equipment, and communication equipment.
  • Must be available to work overtime as needed.


OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (safety glasses, masks, goggles, etc.).

Ability to lift 10-25 lbs. of material/push & pull boats.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EQUIPMENT/OTHER:

  • Must have general knowledge of building boats
  • Must bring your own tools to work each day, such as: tape measure, hand tools
