Responsibilities:
- Perform quantitative and qualitative fish and water quality impacts assessments and related technical analyses
- Provide project management support
- Develop and implement wastewater treatment plant and storm water effluent and receiving water monitoring studies
- Supervise field staff
- Write and review technical reports and CEQA/NEPA chapters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Biology (or toxicology, aquatic ecology, limnology or related discipline)
- 3+ years of experience in working at a consulting firm
- Expertise in water quality, aquatic ecology, or fisheries biology
- Familiar with CEQA/NEPA
- Familiar with California State and Federal Endangered Species Acts
- Strong analytical skills including experience and expertise with spreadsheet and statistical software packages
- Understanding of experimental design and statistical analyses
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate with clients and team members effectively
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
