American Medical Facilities Management is seeking a Billing Specialist

Located in Wayne, WV

Summary of position:

• Responsible for overall accounts receivable function of assigned location. Includes medical billing, payments, reporting and collections.
• Provides assistance to the business office and accounting departments with accounts receivable issues when necessary.
• Ensure Hospice billing will be completed per the billing deadline of each month and follow-up continues until claims are settled.
• Ensure Medicaid billing is completed, accurate and within deadline timeframes.
• Ensure other billing is completed each month within deadline timeframes.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years experience at a medical office healthcare related bookkeeping position.
• Medical Office Billing experience required.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must be knowledgeable of reimbursement regulations practices and procedures.

Work Schedule:

Routinely work five days a week during the day shift and as the need arises on other occasions, including weekends and off hours.
