We are seeking a Production Coordinator to join our team! The Production Coordinator will assist the Production Supervisor coordinate the flow of work and materials between departments as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve execution of production assignments
• Assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Read customer orders, work orders, and production tickets to determine daily make items.
• Move materials and items from production to receiving or other designated areas.
• Review and distribute supplies and shipments in a timely manner
• Confer with other departments to determine progress of work and completion dates
• Compile reports on costs and inventory levels
• Review and communicate production status reports

Qualifications:

• Technical capacity and knowledge of computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous experience in production, planning, or other related fields
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in teams
• Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task, handling numerous assignments simultaneously with quick transitions.
• Bilingual verbal and written language skills – fluent in English and Spanish

Education:

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education and experience combined.

Work Environment

• This position works in an open warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photo-copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.

  A forklift license or the ability to obtain one is required.
