PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

*This position is onsite in Clarkston, MI*

Devote your full time to the business and affairs of Chase Plastic Services, Inc., and to use your best efforts to perform faithfully and efficiently the responsibilities assigned to you. The BI Developer will be responsible for the design and development of data models that support enterprise analytical reporting and dashboard solutions. This position will work closely with the business analyst, business users, and executives to gather, define, and translate business requirements into BI solutions. The applicant must have excellent collaboration skills with the ability to communicate concepts and solutions effectively and clearly. This position will also play a key technical role requiring skills in the design, development, and implementation of data warehousing and BI solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translate business needs to technical specifications
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions
• Examine existing reports to locate and resolve issues
• Make essential technical and strategic changes to improve present business intelligence systems
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
• Create visually impactful, interactive business reports that provide insight into key data points
• Develop and update technical documentation
• Design, develop, automate, and support complex processes to extract, transform and load data into SQL Data Store and Data Warehouse environments using Visual Studio.
• Design and develop complete SSIS packages including the development of stored procedures, connections, tasks, control flows, data flows, parameters, event handlers, and variables.
• Accurately collect and model data for various types of business reports (OLAP cubes, Data warehouse)
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
• Interview stakeholders and collaborate with business analyst to gather and document solution requirements, use cases, and test scenarios for business solutions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
