South Shores Recovery is looking for passionate Behavioral Health Technicians to join our team in Dana Point.

We are currently hiring immediately for FT overnight technician positions (10pm - 6am or 12am - 8am).

Behavioral Health Technicians are an extremely valuable part of the operations team, and their duties would include:

• Direct client care and daily engagement with persons suffering from substance use disorder and other co-occuring disorders
• Observation and documentation of client's self-administered medications within EMR software as needed.
• Medication auditing
• Documentation of rounds observations on client behaviors
• Facility safety and security procedures including belongings searches and urinalysis testing.
• Intake documentation within EMR software for clients entering the program
• General upkeep of facility that align with standards set forth by DHCS and JCAHO
• Demonstration of empathy, understanding, compassion, and clear communication
• Upholding facility rules, regulations, and boundaries with clients
• Compiling of observations of client behaviors into a daily End of Shift report.

FT Overnight Positions (10pm - 6am or 12am - 8am) currently available.

Requirements: RADT (or equivalent), driver's license, CPR/first aid/AED cert, TB test/physical/drug screen, consent to background check.
Preferred: Previous experience in Behavioral Health and/or competency with KIPU.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
