Job description
Star of California is hiring immediately for Full-Time Behavior Technicians in San Jose and the surrounding areas where you can provide state of the art behavioral services to children with autism that help us in Transforming Lives Together!
Salary $20.00 - $28.00
Earn $250 per Behavioral or Mental Health hire with our employee referral program
Qualifications
  • Must have scheduling availability within the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm or 12:00pm-8:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Must be able to travel to case assignments across the Santa Clara County or Alameda County service locations where clients are served
  • Will obtain RBT within 90 days (or maintain RBT if already certified)
  • Must accept all subbing assignments offered within assigned caseload window
  • Maintains exemplary attendance
  • 6-month commitment period to stay with the company
  • Proof of high school or highest earned diploma
  • Reliable form of transportation
  • Prior experience with children with autism is a plus!

Job Highlights
  • Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours paid but may work over 30 hours as needed.
  • Active Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) will be offered $28!
  • Full-time Behavior Technicians (BTs) qualify for Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays and wage increases

Responsibilities
  • Behavior Technicians will provide direct face-to-face Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment services to children with autism in their home, school, or community settings.
  • Working under the direction of a program supervisor teaching clients how to communicate, play, make friends, and function more independently, while helping resolve challenging behaviors.
  • Collect, organize, and summarize behavioral data on child's treatment goals
