Hamilton Family Brewery is a family-owned brewery in Rancho Cucamonga California that prides itself on our mission to “Love People, Love Beer.” Being Rancho Cucamonga’s first brewery, we are a high volume and fast paced environment. At Hamilton Family Brewery our part-time beertenders are responsible for providing a positive, warm, and welcoming environment for our guests. In addition, they educate our guests about our beers. As a Family owned brewery, we pride ourselves on providing a family friendly environment and having the best customer service in town. Our mission is to “Love People, Love Beer” and it shows itself in many forms, from the person that scrubs the toilet for our customers/co-workers to the people running quality control for our flagship beer. Our Culture is one that values people as individuals and depends on them to work as a committed team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers as they arrive
• Provide an overview of our beers and answer any questions that guests might have
• Pour and serve beer
• Work quickly to ensure customers are served in a timely manner
• Ensure all items are entered into the POS system and complete sales transactions
• Ensure flawless execution of filling orders and the payment process
• Ensure an exceptional customer experience and whenever necessary resolve concerns using good judgment, professionalism, and courtesy
• Maintain an exceptionally clean environment for our guests including wiping down all surfaces, sweeping, mopping, clearing away all empty glassware
• Ensure and instill a safety-first environment for both customers and employees
• Ensure responsible serving practices

Required Experience / Education:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
• Some bartending experience a plus
• Experience with POS systems a plus
• Some knowledge of and passion for craft beer and the brewing industry
• Ability to work on a team and contribute in a positive manner
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable speaking to customers
• Outgoing and inviting personality
• Availability to work all taproom operating hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift 55lbs and to move 165lb kegs
• Cash handling experience
• Cicerone Beer Server certification and / or TIPS certification a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 per hour
