Hudson Elms Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation is now hiring a Beautician.
Hudson Elms is a skilled nursing facility and assisted living looking for someone to pamper our residents!
Looking for weekly service one (1) or two (2) days a week.
QUALIFICATIONS 1. Must hold a current managing cosmetologist's license
2. Must enjoy working with the elderly and possess a positive ability to work with others
3. Must be in good health, no lifting restrictions, neat and clean
4. Must be willing and able to learn.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Schedules appointments with residents or responsible parties
2. Performs the following services: Shampoo & Set, Hair Cuts, Permanents, Full Service
3. Assists the residents from their room to the beauty shop and back to their rooms with the help of the nursing staff as necessary. Before taking a resident to the beauty shop, the beautician should check with the charge nurse regarding the resident's current condition
4. Provides the bookkeeper with a record of services provided to the residents. This is due at the end of every month
5. Keeps beauty shop neat and orderly
6. Must have own equipment and supplies
7. Must project a positive attitude and promote the facility and its staff/residents in a positive manner
8. Is responsible for proper and safe storage in the beauty shop of all harmful substances
9. Independent Contractor - Work one or two days weekly
