About the Position:

KoffeeKoala is an independently owned coffee shop that provides a variety of beverages and food items.

Our company is growing rapidly and is searching for candidates for the position of barista. We appreciate you taking the time to review the list of qualifications and to apply for the position. Responsibilities for barista

• Efficiently prepares beverages for guests and ensures they are consistent with standards

• Familiarize self with menu and prices

• Assist in set-up and maintaining work areas and lobby in a clean, neat, and orderly fashion

• Collects the proper money and beverage items

• Greet guests with professionalism

• Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products

• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station on a daily basis

• Have a great attention to detail, who will go the extra mile for our guests

• Have a “can do” attitude and positive energy and chat to our guests

• Monitors temperature of freezers, refrigeration, and heating units throughout shift

Qualifications for barista

• Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply

• Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes

• Enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests

• Experience with Square system

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends and holidays

• Capacity to work well under pressure and as part of a team

• Ability to maintain a pleasant disposition and sense of urgency

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $13.00 per hour
