Title Clerk Duties and Tasks

1) Proper titling of used and wholesale sales for the dealership within state-mandated filing guidelines.

2) Ensure retail transactions are processed in a timely manner

3) Prepare purchase and trade-in documentation, Secure Power of Attorneys, Motor Vehicle forms, etc.

4) Prepare and submit all legal transfer documents to the state department of motor vehicles (DMV)

5) Prepare and process out-of-state customer’s titles and registrations.

6) Work with and maintain relationships with vendors involved in the title process.

7) Maintain a list of all outstanding title work and report the status to department managers.

8) Train to process all used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled. Keep training current and up to date.

9) Notary Public training and certification to be in process or up to date.

10) Updating manuals when rates, rules, or regulations are amended

11) Maintain logs and perform audits for vehicle certificates of origin, vehicle titles, dealer tags and rental car registrations.

12) Demonstrate conduct consistent with our Company's values in all interactions with our customers, coworkers and vendors

General Office Tasks

13) Learn the tasks necessary to provide coverage for the cashier / receptionist position.

14) Filing and copying paperwork as needed.

15) Other clerical / administrative tasks as deemed necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Choose your own hours

• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Gloucester City, NJ 08030: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
