Automotive Service "A" Technician – Subaru March 2023

Lester Glenn Auto Group one of the largest private dealership groups in New Jersey is looking for motivated, people friendly, & goal oriented Automotive Service Technicians for our Subaru location.

We are looking for experienced and motivated Subaru Tech (pref. .Certified) to be responsible for the actual service and/or repair of vehicles assigned to them by service management or their designated representatives. Our Subaru Dealership location is a Union shop.

Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to:

· Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards

· Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification

· Perform Routine inspections , system diagnostics, full automotive troubleshooting and testing

· Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers

· Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made and provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs

Requirements:

Include but are not limited to:

· Previous experience as an automotive technician (ASE certification preferred)

· Minimum 3-5 years experience

· Subaru (Certified Techs pref.), experience Required

· Solid mechanical skills

· Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service

· Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)

· Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
