Job description
Our auto repair shop is looking for a skilled technician to join our team. The person we hire will have a passion for cars and the know-how to conduct preventative maintenance to extend the life of our client's vehicles and help them avoid costly repairs. The right candidate will be able to communicate effectively with our customers and be meticulous in his or her work. Should be able to do tough jobs like engine swaps, transmission swaps, head gasket repairs, timing jobs, timing belt jobs, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair automobiles, light trucks, and SUVs.
- Service vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
- Drive autos to and from jobsite.
- Clean work area.
- Build engines and other components.
- Operate and maintain hydraulic lifts.
- Install heavy equipment parts.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
