Job description

This is an entry level position for candidates seeking a career as an automotive technician. Learn the ropes through our in house education and mentorship program. You'll receive periodic class room training to build your knowledge and skills. You will master those skills working hands on with an experienced technician mentor. Full and part time opportunities available!

We pay for our technicians training and ASE test registration. We also pay a up to $200 bonus for every ASE automotive certification earned.

Job Responsibilities of Tire/Maintenance Technician :

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic systems to become certified with a preference for brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling and electrical
• Change oil and filters
• Install batteries and checks electrical systems
• Install and perform tire maintenance
• Install parts which include shock absorbers and exhaust systems
• Road test vehicles
• Basic stocking and janitorial duties including but not limited to: Receiving warehouse shipments, accurately stocking parts and tires in order of size / part number, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sweeping and mopping, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms.
• Basic porter duties such as shuttling customers, and picking up parts and tires as needed.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate the ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
• You'll also need a high level of motivation, energy and a customer-focused attitude.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Pre-employment drug test/physical/ background check will help assure we build teams of people who can best work with others and serve customer needs.
