We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative AutoCAD Technician to join our team in our Boston, Massachusetts. This position also includes the potential to work remotely. The AutoCAD Technician will work closely with a team of staff engineers and scientists on challenging and exciting environmental, development, energy, and solid waste projects largely in urban environments. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, with opportunities to be challenged, contribute to project outcomes, interact routinely with project staff, and grow professionally.

Essential Functions-What You Will Do

• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D as a drafting tool to prepare standalone figures, plan sets, engineering drawings, and details.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D tools to create grading, surfaces, and profiles.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D as an analysis tool to perform volume and area calculations.
• Willingness to learn and develop best practices.
• Adhere to company standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with project team members.

Competencies-What We Are Looking For

• At least one year of relevant experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and possess a Certificate or AS in Civil Engineering Technology, or similar relevant education.
• Proficiency using AutoCAD Civil 3D software is required. Experience using Carlson or ArcGIS is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities.
• Solid attention to detail is required.
• Work well as a team member, with a collaborative communication style.
