T&T Coast Buick GMC has an immediate opening for a Service Technician. We are a union shop and have one of the most generous compensation packages in the area. A-level GM technicians would start at $37.48 per hour with a bonus of up to an additional $3.00 per hour. You’ll also get a 35-hour weekly guarantee. But rarely will you need it since our average technician produced 110% of his worked hours overall and about 80% of his hours on customer pay and internal work in the calendar year 2022.

We offer a great benefit package as well that includes a hospitalization plan, paid vacation, and paid sick time and holidays.

Dispatch is done by computer, so it’s fair and makes sure work is handed out in a manner that doesn’t favor a select few technicians – everyone gets the good work equally.

Our Service Advisors know how to sell work too. But they don’t oversell and turn off customers. The average advisor sold about 2.0 hours per average ticket in 2022. We use an electronic method of requesting work, so you’ll be able to stay in your bay working while your advisor gets the job sold.

The parts department is well stocked, and we have two experienced counter people that are dedicated to the shop. They take care of the technicians rather than spending half their day on wholesale customers while the techs stand around waiting.
