We have an opening for an automotive dismantler to disassemble wrecked cars and trucks for parts. You never have to wait for the next customer because we always have a backlog of new arrival salvage vehicles to take apart.

We buy collision-damaged vehicles from insurance auctions and we dismantle them to stock the parts so there is no pressure from customers wanting their car back! Removing engines and transmissions is the most important part of the job but you will also get to remove many other parts including doors, hoods, fenders, bumpers, suspension, lights, lamps, air bags, hybrid batteries, and more.

We dismantle about 3,000 newer model vehicles a year that were in collisions. They had their useful life cut short, but a lot of the parts on them are still good. We are primarily a parts business, scrap metal is just a small part of our business.

Job Location: Northwest Green Bay, WI (Village of Howard)

Schedule: You decide! We need 40 hours of work from you each week but you pick your hours. You can schedule yourself for any hours between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday. No weekends or evenings. Choose 5 days at 8 hours, 4 days at 10 hours, or 4 days at 9 hours and one day at 4 hours. Or some other combination at your preference. Change your schedule at your discretion. We just need you to work 40 hours each week.

Pay: Our pay for dismantlers is a piece rate system that pays by the vehicle. You don't have to wait to build up seniority, your skill and motivation determine your earnings. Trucks pay more than cars, 3/4 and 1 ton trucks pay more than 1/2 ton trucks, and there are other add-ons as well. Cars have a base pay of $65 while trucks have a base of $155. Both have bonuses as well.

There is no shortage of work! There are plenty of vehicles in the hold lot waiting to be dismantled. When you finish one vehicle there is always another one to start. Having motivation, experience, good tools, and the ability to work independently are the keys to your success.
