We are now hiring Paint/Body Technicians who are team players, versatile, and dependable!
Paint/Body Technician Job Summary
- $14.75
- 1st Shift – Monday-Thursday – 6:00am-4:30pm, working overtime as required
- Responsible for prepping, sanding, buffing painted vehicles
- Tape and mask off nonpainted surfaces or parts around areas to be painted
- Seal body with epoxy seam sealer and smooth properly for final paint
- Grind and fill with properly mixed body filler, sand to finish
Paint/Body Technician Qualifications
- Prefer HSD or GED
- Prefer 1 year experience in automotive paint prep and body repair
- Ability to run dual action sanders, grinders, and miscellaneous hand tool
- Must have full knowledge of quality requirements to produce acceptable finish paint
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions
- Ability to work with arms above head
- Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled conditions
